Last year's Headliners

Banachek is the cream of the crop when it comes to entertainers. He is the world's leading Mentalist, and to lay audiences (and most magicians) he appears to possess the uncanny ability to bend, warp and manipulate metal objects at will. He also performs mastery feats of clairvoyance, precognition, and hypnosis. He is the only mentalist to fool scientists into believing he possessed 'Psychic powers' - only to later reveal he was using original methods shared with only a few magicians. He has since shared many of his methods in instructional DVDs and books on mentalism, including the best selling "Psychological Subtleties," series 1-3. He has received the coveted Psychic Entertainers Creativity award for his outstanding original contributions and inventions in the world of Mental entertainment. Banachek’s expertise has been sought by many top performers around the world, including Penn & Teller, David Blaine, Lance Burton, and Criss Angel. (Banachek was the magic producer for A&E’s MINDFREAK.) Banachek's lecture included something for everyone, regardless of their skill level. He likely changed the way some of us thought about magic. We're so glad we got to see "The mind of the Man Who Fooled the Scientists!”

Tony Clark

Tony Clark is an absolute master of sleight-of-hand and misdirection, and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. His expertise extends to all areas of magic, and he lectures on many faucets of conjuring.   In 1986 Tony studied the art of magic under Tony Slydini, and within a few years he won the World Class Stage Contest from the Society of American Magicians. He's been nominated Stage Magician of the Year by the Magic Castle, and has been awarded Magician of the Year by the Int'l Brotherhood of Magicians. For the past twenty years, Tony has literally traveled the world performing, producing and creating for live stage shows, TV, Film & Videos. His own show made Lake Tahoe history by being the first show ever to run four years straight! He performed an escape on NBC's World's Most Dangerous Magic II, and appeared on Masters of Illusion. He coached Nicholas Cage for the film "Next," and John Malkovich for the film "The Great Buck Howard".

Asi Wind

Asi Wind is one of magic's most influential thinkers and performers. Magicians all over the world study and perform his creations. He is best known for "Time is Money", "Double Exposure" and his work on ACAAN. He's part of the team that puts together the magic for David Blaine, and recently made an appearance on his latest ABC special.    Wind's recent off-Broadway show, “Concert of the Mind,” completely sold out, extended its run, and received rave reviews and critical acclaim. His current show "Do You Want To Change Your Mind?" just finished a successful run in London, and is scheduled to run in NYC.    Asi was born and raised in Tel Aviv, where he was voted "Best Magician in Israel." He currently resides in New York City, and spends most of his year performing across the globe.

Michael Finney

Michael Finney is one of the original giants of comedy magic. He has spent the last 30 years performing in comedy clubs, charity & corporate events, and cruise ships all over the world - all of which he continues to do to this day. Sprinkle in over a dozen network TV appearances, 2 Worlds Greatest Magician TV specials, 4 appearances on Masters of Illusion, and you know this guy is at the top of his field.   He has won almost major award in magic. He received the Silver Lions Head Award from Siegfried and Roy for excellence in comedy and magic; both the Comedy Magician of the Year and Parlour Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood. His son is a 24 year Navel Officer. You will always see Michael wear RED on Fridays.  R.E.D. = Remember Everyone Deployed.

Henrik Bothe

Joining us to host & perform in the Sat night show was Danish-born variety artist Henrik Bothe. Henrick recreated for us everyone’s favorite plate spinning act on the Ed Sullivan Show. He brought down the house fighting for his life to try to get all eight plates spinning. Henrik has circled the globe more than a few times performing his vaudeville-style of entertainment. His career includes credits as varied as performing on the Tonight Show w/Jay Leno, to the Russian State Circus in St. Petersburg. He was even featured on Garrison Keillor‘s “A Prairie Home Companion” where Garrison exclaimed “Henrik is one of few jugglers who has ever succeeded performing on the radio!"
